hi,thanks for the tipwhat about the scan of our External Hard Drives for mac.I connected my EHD to my Mac and the malwarebytes dont scan this, only the Macs Hard Drive.i found in this program there isnt scan options.thanks for the answer.

I have checked on the Malwarebytes fourms, They wont allow a official portable version of malwarebytes as the maker of malwarebytes says 'I would rather not this PORTABLE version be publicisied. It goes against EVERYTHING I had planned for this project. If you want to use it for yourself, go ahead, but please, do not spread the word about it.' but yet he goes on to say on his next post 'Until we make an OFFICIAL portable version, I would rather we keep the 3rd party ones under wraps. I appreciate your attempt, and it worked pretty well, but I just can not support it officially.' so as for their being a real Malwarebytes portable app could be yes, but you could get in trouble if you spread it. Also alot people thing this is anti-virus it is and it is not. This is only for Malware so if you only have malwarebytes as your only protection for viruses and you run Vista or Seven it will say you have no anti-virus protection. So please people don't just use this as your only protection...

I tried to use VMware Thinapp. I't works but sometimes will crash due to the problem ''BEX''. That error is triggered by MICROSOFT DEP. I think ''thinstalled malwarebytes'' will execute some data in the memory. So it will be closed sometimes in the quick scan due to the execution of data in memory.

Just wanted to say that i created a portable malwarebytes that works perfectly. I've been using it on various computers over the last year or so but just lazy to go through the process of uploading and doing the whole thing. If anyone wants to test it out and upload it email me and ill send you a link to download. At first i tried to thinapp malwarebytes but the problem is that for it check and add the latest definitions to your computer, specific registry entries must be executed however i found a workaround.
